1. $400,000-family
2. $200,000-Donate to help students in educational pursuits (after school activies, field trips, supplies, etc)
3. Research for alzheimers and cancer-split $100,000
4.$100,000 for further investigation of String Theory or alternative fuel source (probably the latter-it would be more beneficial to the country right now, but I'm still dead curious about other dimensions.It would be a hard decision...).
5.$50,000- Um...For events promoting authors and screenwriters to compete?
6.$50,000- Leave to some made-up name. The plan will be to fake my own death, spend about two months hiding in the mountains while I drastically change my appearance, lifestyle, and personality-then I'll come back, claim to be so and so, and live on that until the FBI find me and enforce whatever dumb rule that says I have to give a million bucks away.

7. Or I hire an assassin to kill whoever made up that rule if #6 doesn't work out.

Just read the first chapter of Drifters by Hirano. The main character is still kind of Alucard-ish, and the battle was alright, but what's got me really intrigued is the sudden appearance of the man behind the desk.

Alternate Universes are endlessly fansinating to me.

I won't recommend a book, I'll recommend a series: Dark Tower- Stephen King

Why? What isn't cool about an author that decides to write himself into a book as a total dork and makes vague Harry Potter references "We'll kick the Slytherin out of you!"

What isn't cool about multiple demensions, the re appearance of other characters from previous books, and the fact that four extremely strange people and one animal (all from different time periods: a boy, a drug addict, one gunslinger, a Billy Bumbler, and oh and there is one bad ass chick confined to a wheel chair with multiple personalities) looking for one extremely big and black tower standing in the center of all creation?

Dark Tower is awesome because as a reader you have no idea where the hell your going to turn up. Even better, because its King, you have no idea who's going to die at any minute either. He's not always the happy ending type, so you can't tell who might be up next. Or what's coming next, live's hectic, and King can be pretty realistic when he wants to be, even if he is dealing with gunslingers and mulitple worlds. The books are profound, imaginative, frightening, and pretty hilarious. (There is something really funny about Roland, the gunslinger, wigging out over soda)

The only book I find annoying in the entire series as to be Wizard's glass and that's only because of a rather long love story. After that, it was nothing but action and you felt like you're running with the team.
